Island
A kitchen island is a freestanding cabinet designed to add additional storage and a countertop workspace area. Islands come in a variety of sizes, styles, and materials and often incorporate seating as well as integral storage drawers or cabinets. Custom islands are designed and measured for the space. Sometimes the island will exactly match the kitchen cabinetry, and sometimes it will complement or contrast with the kitchen cabinets.
