Three kitchens designed by RitaLuisa Garcés of Bilotta Kitchens were featured in the Winter 2019 edition of Westchester Home. The first kitchen, which was featured on the magazine’s cover, achieves a modern organic vibe through its selection of materials and textures. The kitchen (shown below) features Artcraft Cabinetry in rift cut white oak with a smokewood stain, brushed stainless countertops and open shelving.
The second kitchen, designed to meet the needs of both an active family and a serious cook, is a blend of style and function. The kitchen utilizes white painted custom cabinetry by Bilotta, white Neolith Classtone countertops and a white subway tile backsplash as a backdrop for bold accents. Focal points in the room include a black and gold La Cornue range with custom hood, Benjamin Moore Blue Toile painted center island and open shelving. This highly functional kitchen maintains a streamlined look with the help of an appliance garage, concealed snack storage cupboard and microwave drawer.
The third kitchen, highlighted in the magazine’s kitchen and bath trends roundup article, features an arch-shaped custom marble tile hearth with brushed stainless open shelving that complements the Wolf range and hood. The kitchen is used to illustrate the new trend of incorporating texture for added design interest while maintaining a neutral color palette.
