Bilotta Kitchen & Home was featured in the Architects & Designers Building’s Spring 2024 issue of their Design NYC Magazine.
The article highlights Andrew Petronio’s loft renovation. A partner at KA Design Group, Petronio entrusted Bilotta senior designer Jeff Eakley with the kitchen renovation. Since the home had plenty of natural light, Petronio wanted to try something different; he chose a visually striking, dark color palette. Eakley, drawing on over 20 years of collaboration with Petronio, designed a beautiful and unique kitchen that is sure to stand the test of time.
To maximize the loft’s nearly 15-foot ceilings, the designers chose to build up. The ebony-stained, rift-cut oak lower cabinets provide a contrast to the two-tier stainless-steel wall cabinets. The resulting kitchen is a mix of drama and sophistication with ample storage space.
They also included a rolling ladder for easy access to upper-level storage and added a custom limestone backsplash to enhance the kitchen’s elegant design.
Petronio’s overall vision aligned well with Bilotta’s expertise, resulting in a distinctive kitchen that stands out among other New York City apartments. The entire project reflects the duo’s collaborative creativity.
