This year, the magazine received a record number of entries, making the nominations even more remarkable. It is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and attention to detail that both designers have brought to their craft.
Randy’s traditional kitchen is a clean, classic white space that perfectly complements the Mediterranean-style house it’s in. The white palette is accented with polished-brass hardware, white quartz countertops and a white oak herringbone floor which adds texture and interest to the space. Leaded glass inserts in the cabinets replicate the look and feel of the home’s patio doors, creating a refined and cohesive look.
Paula’s traditional kitchen boasts a hygge aesthetic with natural materials, clean lines, and light colors. The soft blue cabinetry and white oak floating shelves provide ample storage while keeping the space airy and open. The white oak is continued on the custom stuccoed hood. The range, island pendants, and hardware feature brass trim for a cohesive look, while marble countertops and a white subway tile backsplash complete the design.
Randy’s modern kitchen features matte white paint and textured chocolate laminate for added interest. A waterfall island and diverse hardware create a contemporary feel, while the butler’s pantry adds functionality. Marble countertops and a slab backsplash bring a touch of luxury to the space.
We wish both designers the best of luck at the upcoming awards ceremony on June 28th. Regardless of the outcome, they will continue to inspire us with their creativity and vision in kitchen design.
