OUR FEATURED DESIGNERS:
RAJNI ALEX, founder and principal of Rajni Alex Design, draws her inspiration from myriad cultural influences. After two years working with renowned designer Brian J. McCarthy in New York, executing numerous high-end residential projects, Rajni launched her own interior design business, reflecting her modern and eclectic style. The boutique firm is comprised of an elite team of designers, working with Rajni to create timeless, elegant, and functional spaces.
According to Rajni, “People aren’t one dimensional – their homes shouldn’t be either.” The Indian-born designer creates luxurious, harmonious and practical rooms incorporating vintage, Chinoiserie, mid-century modern, and French influences to create truly unique environments that have a touch of glamour. As a mother of two, Rajni understands the need to combine form and functionality, believing that design should be both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Her design philosophy is rooted in putting the client first and carefully working within their requirements. “The rooms I create are influenced by my design ethos, but ultimately each space is a reflection of my clients’ personali and lifestyle”. Rajni’s unfailing attention to detail and passion for getting every detail just right results in environments that are an effortless blend of ‘old and new’. Rajni’s style and designs can be summed up simply in Mae West’s words,“Too much of a good thing can be wonderful.” Follow Rajni on Instagram: @rajnialexdesign and on Facebook: @rajnialexdesign.
