About the Project
This elegant custom home bar, designed in collaboration with Glenn Gissler Design and Krupinski Builders, seamlessly combines classic sophistication with modern design elements. The focal point is the striking Bilotta Collection cabinetry, painted in Benjamin Moore’s rich Hale Navy, which grounds the space with a refined yet approachable aesthetic. The cabinetry features clean lines and recessed paneling, topped with a light marble countertop that offers a crisp contrast.
Mid Century Modern Bar Details
Four vintage-inspired bar stools with brushed brass pedestals and dark leather seats line the bar, evoking a sense of mid-century luxury. Above, a large round ceiling-mounted fixture with a bronze frame and alabaster-style diffuser casts a warm, ambient glow. Additional smaller pendant lights in geometric cages further enhance the room’s cozy yet upscale wet bar atmosphere.
Built-In Bar Shelving and Decorative Accents
Behind the bar, a built-in shelf, also in Hale Navy, holds a curated selection of spirits and glassware. Twin black spindle table lamps with white shades sit on either side of the shelf, framing a rectangular mirror that reflects light and adds depth. A gold-toned vase with fresh greenery brings an organic touch to the composition.
The surrounding space features cream-toned beadboard paneling and a coffered ceiling that elevates the architectural interest. Dark hardwood flooring adds warmth, while a plush navy armchair and a blue-and-white area rug introduce soft textures and layered color.
