Nestled in the heart of Bridgehampton, this charming cottage was thoughtfully renovated to reflect that spirit – creating a warm, inviting retreat just moments from the beach.
A Kitchen Inspired by Nature
The kitchen serves as the heart of the home, designed to feel as tranquil as the landscape beyond its windows. Framed by lush greenery and flooded with natural light, the space balances refined craftsmanship with an understated coastal palette.
Fully custom Bilotta cabinetry, handcrafted and finished in Benjamin Moore’s Storm Cloud Gray, introduces a soft sage-gray tone that echoes the surrounding landscape. Clean-lined cabinetry, warm oak architectural detailing, and a soaring vaulted ceiling create a sense of openness while maintaining the intimate scale of the cottage.
Natural Materials, Lasting Beauty
A palette of timeless materials reinforces the home’s relaxed sophistication. Statuary White marble wraps the countertops, full-height backsplash, and integrated farmhouse sink, its delicate gray veining bringing subtle movement and elegance to the room.
Warm unlacquered brass accents – including Armac Martin’s MIX Collection hardware and a Watermark faucet—develop a rich patina over time, adding character that only improves with age. The brass beautifully complements the natural oak beams and millwork, lending warmth to the otherwise serene palette.
Thoughtfully selected Thomas Hayes TK counter stools in solid oak and brass complete the composition, introducing handcrafted texture and sculptural form while reinforcing the home’s effortless blend of modern refinement and coastal comfort.

Every detail was considered with the way the homeowners live in mind. An open, welcoming layout encourages gathering after long days at the beach, while expansive windows blur the line between indoors and out. The result is a kitchen that feels bright, relaxed, and enduring – a space equally suited for quiet morning coffee as it is for entertaining family and friends.
A Collaborative Vision
Exceptional homes are rarely the work of one individual. This renovation was the result of a close collaboration between Bilotta Kitchen & Home Senior Designer RitaLuisa Garcés, interior designer Lindsey Bonime of L. Bonime Design, and architect Nancy Howell. Together, they transformed the cottage as part of a comprehensive whole-home renovation, creating a residence that feels timeless, authentic, and perfectly at home in Bridgehampton.
