Seeking Assistant Coordinator to Director of Installations to join our award winning, high-end, established kitchen design firm.

Full-time position – starting Jan. 3, 2023 with one to two weeks training during early Dec. 2022.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the cabinet and installation business. They must have excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Candidate will be the assistant to the Director of Installations. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Keeping track of all current jobs before start of installation and through completion of punch list. This will include keeping an ongoing log of job progression and meeting with rest of installations team and salespeople/designers once a week for updates.
  • Answering inquiries on past jobs for work requests and warranties.
  • Communicating with factories as needed for parts, deliveries, warranties, etc.
  • Interaction with all departments as it relates to installation
  • Coordinating with Project Manager on their daily schedule and gathering info before and after punch list for updates to the log of ongoing jobs.
  • Setting up the weekly meetings with the installations team and salespeople/designers and sending everyone the most current job updates prior to the meeting.
  • Communicating with the salespeople/designers throughout the week on job updates or any assistance they may need from the installations department.
  • Setting up and being present for conference calls with the various factories when problems arise.
  • Keeping track of back-charges and communicating with accounting department on status.
  • Working with Project Manager on reporting and replacing parts that come in damaged upon delivery.
  • Candidate must have a high level of expertise in MS Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, and Outlook in order to assist with miscellaneous tasks, create and maintain various spreadsheets, most importantly the log of jobs.
  • Ability to evaluate and improve on current in-house systems is a plus.
  • Must be able to handle difficult clients and troubleshoot problems that may arise.

Schedule: Monday through Friday (F/T)
Job Location: Mamaroneck (Headquarters)
Salary: $20 – $25 an hour
