Tabitha Tepe, Designer
Tabitha Tepe discovered a true passion for the interior design industry at an early age, having grown up in a family very much in tune to the design of their home and gardens. She was naturally attracted to the design world so earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from Newbury College in Brookline, MA. Tabitha’s career started as a design assistant at Dalia Kitchen Design in Boston and in 2011 she joined Bilotta in NYC as a design assistant working up to Designer.
Tabitha’s talent to work in many design styles is complimented by the wide range of cabinets she found at Bilotta. Tabitha says "With a simple walk through our showroom, we can demonstrate most design styles from very sleek contemporary hi gloss to an elaborately detailed traditional design and even the most popular ‘in-between’ transitional". "My favorite part of every home is the kitchen – and it’s my true passion to work with clients to create one they’ll never want to leave." One of Tabitha’s many strengths is her extensive knowledge and experience with 3D programs that allow her to take her clients on a virtual tour of their prospective kitchen. Clients can more easily understand her design concept from a realistic picture of their proposed kitchen. Having done kitchens both in urban and suburban areas, Manhattan kitchens have proven to be the most exciting and challenging. "Every Manhattan apartment has its own quirks and obstacles to overcome". She has done amazing jobs with shoebox size kitchens, fitting in all the bells and whistles a client could want. In just five years with Bilotta Tabitha has already built an enormous store of experience. From assisting with a glamorous multi house project in Hong Kong to a NYC kitchen for a renown interior designer, her following of trade and retail clients speaks for itself.
Tabitha enjoys bringing the latest, cutting-edge design to the Bilotta showroom. She designed a Bilotta Collection display to tremendous acclaim at the A&D Building 2016 Opening Night. She also hosted and participated in a panel discussion about the latest in kitchen trends and technology in the home with noted architect, Philip Koether and AD 100 designers John Barman and Alex Gorlin with Cottages & Gardens Magazine.
