Randy O’Kane, CKD, Senior Designer
Randy O’Kane, CKD, a senior designer at Bilotta, has been with the company since 1997. Randy earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology where she honed her innate sense of design. Acclaimed for her classically inspired, innovative designs, her work has been lauded and featured in Traditional Home, At Home magazine, This Old House, Westchester HOME, Design NJ, and Kitchen & Bath Ideas, and on the NBC television series “Open House NYC.” In 2009, Randy designed the kitchen and butler’s pantry for Westchester Magazine’s first designer show house, the Westchester Dream Home. In 2015, one of her kitchens won first place in Westchester HOME’s Design Awards for the “Best Kitchen” category, and was later used as the backdrop in an episode of Law & Order SVU. In 2017, she was awarded for “Best Traditional Kitchen” for the same contest. Randy has also lectured on topics such as urban kitchen renovations and green design alternatives to industry professionals including the AIA and The Corcoran Group.
Randy led Bilotta’s product development team in coordination with their shop to develop new cabinetry styles and finishes. Her work helped to establish Bilotta as a leader in the kitchen industry. Bilotta’s signature cabinet collection was officially launched in 2013 introducing Randy’s unique door design and display featuring an electrifying mix of metal and wood. Working behind-the-scenes with Bilotta’s shop, Randy designed each intricate detail and component, exclusive to Bilotta, to bring the collection to life.
Her success is evident from the strong referral base of retail and trade clients she has built since joining Bilotta. She has enjoyed working with all varieties of clients from individual homeowners to celebrities, interior designers, architects, and builders.
