Jeff Eakley, Senior Designer
Jeff Eakley has been with Bilotta since the company’s inception in 1985. Not only is Jeff a senior designer with his own retail and trade clients, he is also Bilotta’s Director of New Business Developmen t. He plays an instrumental role in deciding which products Bilotta represents and displays, providing their showrooms and offerings with cutting-edge materials from around the world.
Jeff began his study of cabinetry at the young age of 15, when he worked in a friend’s high-end kitchen showroom and was given hands-on training in construction and design. He then had formal technical training at the Norwalk Technical Institute before joining the Bilotta family business in 1982. He first began in Bilotta’s construction company as a carpenter’s apprentice to Jim Bilotta, Sr. In 1985, when Bilotta decided to expand their business, Jeff was integral in opening the first kitchen and bath showroom in Mamaroneck which remains the company’s headquarters today. Often considered the “4th sibling”, Jeff has been involved in every aspect of building the Bilotta firm, its showrooms, people, and brand. In his 30+ years at Bilotta he has designed and installed hundreds of kitchens and has built a strong referral base. His clients return to him for second and third kitchens years after the first. Jeff’s well-earned reputation for meticulous attention to detail and outstanding customer service has made him a favorite among leading architects, interior designers, and builders.
Of the hundreds of kitchens he’s designed and installed, the most noted are a kitchen for the culinary department of the White Plains Bloomingdale’s (the site of hundreds of cooking demonstrations and events) and a Penthouse kitchen for Westchester Magazine’s Dream Home in the Ritz Carlton Residences in White Plains, NY. His work has been featured multiple times in Westchester HOME as well as in Bilotta’s brochures and ad campaigns.
